  14.   I have finally decided to get a V.34, 28.8 Kbps modem for my 
  15. 68030-equipped 2000.

  17.   The Supra V.34 supports firmware upgrades and is cheaper (commonly less 
  18. than $200 in stores in the Los Angeles area).

  20.   From what I have read, the USRobotics Sportster is supposed to have the
  21. best connectivity (even allowing higher transfers speeds with some
  22. manufacturers' modems than when they connect to others of their own type),
  23. but I have read of problems when used with GPFax.  Also, the version which
  24. supports upgrading the firmware via loading a file is considerably more
  25. expensive.
